Getting Started

  1. Install Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Open a Google Sheet with your contacts (columns like Name and Email).
  3. Open the add-on from Extensions → Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro.
  4. Write your message using {{placeholders}}, or connect your own Gemini or OpenAI API key to let the AI writer draft it.
  5. Send right away, or schedule it for later.

Common Questions

How do I install the add-on?

Install Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro from the Google Workspace Marketplace, then open any Google Sheet. You will find it under Extensions → Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro.

How does it send emails?

Emails are sent through your own Gmail or Google Workspace account, so they come from your address. Google applies daily email recipient quotas to Apps Script email sending, and the quota depends on the type and status of your Google account (see Google's Apps Script quotas). Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro also applies plan limits. You can send up to whichever limit is lower, and Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro cannot raise or bypass Google's quota.

Do paid plans renew automatically?

No. Paid access is purchased for a one-month period, and payments do not automatically renew. To continue a paid plan after the current paid period, you purchase the next period. Otherwise your account returns to the Free plan when the paid period ends.

How do I personalize my emails?

Add columns such as Name, Email, and Company to your sheet. Reference any column in your message with {{placeholders}} — for example, "Hi {{Name}}" — and each recipient gets their own version.

Can I schedule emails or set up follow-ups?

Yes. You can schedule a campaign for a future date and time, and set up an automated follow-up email that is sent to the campaign’s recipients after a delay you choose. Follow-ups are based only on that delay. Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro does not read your Gmail inbox.

Is my data safe?

Your contacts stay in your own Google Sheet — we do not store them on our servers. The add-on requests only the access it needs to read your sheet and send from your Gmail.

Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro account and the data we hold about you. Deletion is handled by our team. There is no automatic delete button.

  1. Email support@aalavaya.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request – Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro".
  2. Send it from the Google account you use with Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro, and include that account's email address. If you write from a different address, we will confirm the request with the account's email address before deleting anything.
  3. If you have made a payment, include your Razorpay payment ID so we can locate your records.
  4. We will confirm by email once your data has been deleted, within 30 days of your request.

The Privacy Policy lists what is deleted and what may be kept.

Some data is stored in your own Google account, not on our servers, so you can remove it yourself:

  • Delete saved AI and WhatsApp/SMS provider keys from the add-on's Settings.
  • Delete the Status columns and any report tabs from your Google Sheet.
  • Uninstall the add-on from Google Sheets (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons), then remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Draft Tester Opt-Out

If you were added as a draft tester for Aalavaya Mail Merge Pro on the Google Workspace Marketplace and no longer want to take part, use the Draft Tester Opt-Out page to request removal.
